As Venus Women’s Rights Association, we were honored to take part in the Erasmus+ project “Working Women’s Struggle with Stress” held from October 15-21, 2024, in Turkey. This inspiring initiative brought together participants from Latvia, Hungary, Portugal, Romania, and Turkey to address a significant issue: the stress and mobbing faced by women in their professional lives.
Eleven participants proudly represented Latvia in this project, joining other participants in a journey of growth, learning, and collaboration. From thought-provoking workshops to hands-on activities like yoga and mindfulness, the program provided powerful tools for combating stress and fostering resilience.
Our participants described the project as life-changing. They emphasized how it equipped them with new skills, strengthened their emotional resilience, and inspired them to advocate for better workplace environments. One participant shared:
"This experience was not only about learning but also about connecting—with others and with ourselves. It gave me the confidence to address challenges in a positive, constructive way."
